Writing Your Life Story: Tales for the Grandchildren

Writing Your Life Story: Tales for the Grandchildren
7 sessions • 14 hours

ILR’s longest running course returns! Weekly handouts and discussion guide you in writing your family history, recording its unique culture, folklore, and values for future generations. Preserving both personal and family stories provides a good sense of self-identification and belonging to those who come after you. Beginning and experienced writers are sure to benefit from discussions as well as opportunities to write at least seven stories during our seven sessions together. Course is limited to 12 participants, so be sure to register early.

Facilitator: Facilitating of one of ILR’s most popular courses, Dottie O’Neal was hand-picked by course creator and long-time teacher, Shirley Sandage. Dottie was Shirley’s student in this course for many years and continues to write her own life story.
