Join Dr. Joseph Fiola, viticulture specialist for the University of Maryland, to learn which types of grapes are used to make specific wines and then which of those wines are best with certain types of foods. Understand the grape naming process, names of grapes in other wine countries, and the types of wines made in Maryland. Gain confidence to successfully navigate the aisles of your favorite wine shop while enjoying the experience. Includes wine tastings. Must be 21 years of age to register and participate.
