Enjoy the art of candle making! Join us to learn the colorful history of candle making, discover how candles are created from scratch and then roll up your sleeves to make one of your very own. During the process, understand how to use candle-making equipment, learn all about all the different types of wax, candle dyes, fragrances, and wicks, and hear some insider’s tips on how to get the best results. Take home your candle to share or give as a gift along with a workbook to get started at home. All materials included.

Instructor: Celia Baula
Celia Baula has over 17 years of experience working in the biopharmaceutical industry. She holds a degree in Biochemistry, went to medical school, and received her MBA from University of Maryland Smith School of Business. She has worked with local and global biopharmaceutical companies managing projects of different sizes, scope, and complexity. When not working on lifesaving technology, she uses her free time to read, develop organic products and a skin care line, attend trade shows and craft fairs, and work on her new book. She is the CEO of Green Papaya, LLC, which makes hand-poured 100% soy wax candles, tea lights, and wax melts.
