Learn how to get your book published and available for sale in bookstores and online. Learn the pros and cons of self-publishing and whether it is appropriate for your work. You will also explore the differences between self-publishing,
vanity publishing and lightning press. Find out how to make your book indistinguishable from a title published by a large press.

Instructor: James Rada
Jim Rada has written many works of historical fiction and non-fiction history, including three novels about the C&O Canal. He has also written a number of articles about the history of and events on the canal. Jim is a full-time freelance writer who has received numerous awards from the Maryland- Delaware-DC Press Association, Associated Press, Maryland State Teachers Association, Society of Professional Journalists, and Community Newspapers Holdings, Inc. for newspaper writing.
