Join us and learn how to paint your own masterpiece! We will uncover the interesting trade secrets of the great masters while using acrylic paint to create your own custom painting. Find out how to capture and apply the brush stroke, style, and techniques from masters of Expressionism; an avante garde style that originated in Germany and appeared before WWI. Artists featured in our discussions may include: Vincent van Gogh, Edvard Much, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee, and Egon Schiele. Some drawing or painting experience (in any medium) is highly recommended. Supplies are included with your fee.

With a master’s Degree in Art Education from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, Jeanne McDermott has more than 7 years of experience as a floral designer for Radebaughs in Towson, MD and was as a teacher with the Frederick County Public School system for more than 10 years.
