New! Adult Children Helping Parents Age
2 sessions, 4 hours
How to start a conversation with your parents about aging. Of course we all want to be Peter Pan, but since we can’t get younger we can only get older with style and preparation. Learn how to help your parents understand this ongoing process of renewal that is at the heart of life. Topics, living will, power of attorney, assistive devices, health matters, wishes at the time of death and more. This conversation needs to be respectful of the fears of the parent.
