History’s Mysteries: The Shroud of Turin

History’s Mysteries: The Shroud of Turin
1 session, 2 hours

The flawed carbon-dating of 1988, claiming a hoax, was totally invalidated by the brilliant scientists at Los Alamos Labs in 2005, and again in 2008.  Is it the genuine burial cloth of Jesus Christ?

This fascinating series explores actual scientific evidence in some of history’s most intriguing mysteries. Leave it to retired military intelligence officer and aerospace scientist Warren Gray to dig into these cases – some of them centuries old – examining photos, official documents, eyewitness report and deathbed confessions to discover what really happened. Focus is on late-breaking, solid, factual evidence to shed light on these enduring mysteries.

Instructor: Warren Gray is a retired Air Force intelligence officer with experience in special operations and counter-terrorism, and an avid interest in historical mysteries. He earned 22 military medals and four college degrees, including a Master of Aeronautical Science degree, and has authored seven published historical novels. He has instructed fighter pilots, military commanders, civilian dignitaries, senior NATO officers, students of all ages, and various public audiences on a wide range of topics. Warren’s engaging teaching style and visually rich presentations offer unique insights and shed light into the dim corners of history.
