Instructor: James (Jim) Rada has written many works of historical fiction and non-fiction history, including three novels about the C&O Canal. He has also written a number of articles about the history of and events on the canal. A full-time freelance writer, Jim has received numerous awards for his writing from the Maryland-Delaware-DC Press Association, Associated Press, Maryland State Teachers Association, Society of Professional Journalists, and Community Newspapers Holdings, Inc.
