Apple’s Incredible iPad® – What’s in it for You?

Apple’s multi-functional iPad® is revolutionizing personal computing and making information, communications, photographs and music readily accessible to everyday folks at home and on the go. Discover how to use iPad® touch screen technology to quickly navigate its many features, expand and contract images and text on the screen, access the Internet, take and store high quality photos, use GPS maps, keep contact lists, manage music files and more. We will also explore the Apple Store to browse available music and the many “apps” designed for the iPad® (many of which are free). If you are a current or future iPad® owner, or are just curious about the iPad®, please join us!

Instructor: An experienced ILR instructor, Bill O’Neal has been designing the program’s computer curriculum since 1998. With more than 30 years’ experience at FCC, Mr. O’Neal has provided instruction in a variety of academic credit and continuing education programs. Prior to FCC, he was an adjunct instructor for the Hood College Graduate program. Bill is retired from a 34-year career with the Federal Government in Information Management, where most recently he was a manager in the Directorate of Information Management at Fort Detrick.
