Join us in a variety of locations throughout Frederick County to participate in our engaging presentations about history, literature, creative arts, health, wellness classes and more. Made possible by a generous donation from the Shirley Cruickshank Wolfe Fund, these ILR classes are free of charge. Our upcoming schedule is noted below.

History of NASA and the Space Program

Bob Rubock presents an engaging and informative overview of the history of NASA – from its inception under President Eisenhower, to present projects and plans for the future. Specific topics include manned spaceflights, advanced telescopes and the exploration of Mars.
